Hackwood Homes is an experienced contractor focused on the delivery of high quality, housing and building projects.

We are experienced in joint ventures and land acquisition enabling delivery of turn key contracting projects for housing associations. This has now developed into a primary function of the company.

We are currently in negotiation with a number of housing associations to deliver a substantial quantity of houses and apartments over the coming years.

Working with the private sector

Hackwood has extensive experience in the contracting sector working for a number of high profile, award-winning retirement housebuilders.

We also specialise in podium and basement car parking, ground source heat pumping, off site production of construction pods. We engineer value for the client by utilising innovative products and processes whilst striving to achieve carbon neutral/reduction on all construction sites.

Our Methods

Basement Parking

Hackwood Homes has built basement parking for up to 35 cars in some of the retirement developments. The basements are generally accessed via a resin bonded ramp or, on land restricted sites, via the installation of two car lifts.

Bathroom Pods

We have successfully trialled, the use of bathroom pods craned into position on our developments reducing time on site and reducing our company carbon footprint.

In conjunction with our specialist installation company, our groundworks team have also installed ground-source heat pumps on many of our developments.

AFTERCARE

Hackwood employs a dedicated, directly employed, team which form part of its Special Works Department. The team skillset includes electricians, plumbers, decorators and multi-trade operatives capable of carrying all of customer care requirements.
