New appointments strengthen team at Hackwood Homes

Hackwood Homes has made two significant appointments over the last six months as the company strengthens its position as one of the region’s leading contractors to the public and private sector.

Bill Williams has joined as land and new homes manager and Gary Lovell as estimating manager.

The Basingstoke-based property and development company has grown its reputation over the last six years building luxury retirement developments for Renaissance Retirement and PegasusLife.

Chris Goddard said: “I’m delighted to welcome Bill and Gary to the Hackwood team and I’m sure they’ll be excellent recruits. We are currently in negotiation with a number of housing associations to deliver a substantial quantity of houses and apartments over the coming years.”

Hackwood is experienced in joint ventures and land acquisition enabling delivery of turn key contracting projects for housing associations. This has now developed into a primary function of the company.

The company currently employs 20 Head Office staff including management, operations, design, interiors, surveyors, site managers, technical, commercial, accounts, administration and sales. Hackwood Homes also boasts a hard-working site team 45 strong.

In 2017 Hackwood Homes was ranked number 11 in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 after four consecutive years of sustained growth.
